It’s always exciting to get hired for work in my home state! Not only did I schedule 3 other sessions while I was in the area,  I had the opportunity to spend time with family and friends which can be a rare blessing in the military lifestyle. Though it was gloomy and often rainy while I was home,  not a single shoot had to be rescheduled–God is good!

On the day of the wedding,  it was raining and storming all morning. When I arrived to capture family portraits, the rain held off long enough for us to get our photographs and only started sprinkling when we went back inside!  What a blessing!

When I arrived at the venue, I couldn’t help but notice the GIANT cookie table. If you are not from Western Pennsylvania, this may seem super strange, but it is a huge thing where I grew up. This table, was even big by PA standards though– 215 dozen cookies!!

The hall was stunning with its 3 gigantic chandeliers and elegant decor…

The ceremony itself was very laid back, the bride and groom even mingled with guests openly before the ceremony. After a simple and sweet ceremony, the night was filled with good conversation and even some dancing.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Land. I wish you many, many years of happiness!

My life is founded in Christ, and through him I have been blessed with a beautiful family and wonderful friends. He has also gifted me with a love for photography which has been a blessing of provision for our family and an honor and joy for me to share with others.
